Leading the Charge for Healthcare Marketing

The Society of Healthcare Strategy and Market Development (SHSMD) is once again hosting its annual conference in San Diego. For myself, Kris Wieland and Robby Krapfl, the conference has been a time of learning, inspiration and connecting with clients and collaborators.

The highlight of Monday, day one, was a keynote speech by Ervin “Magic” Johnson. The famous basketball player shared great stories of basketball, business and inspiration. I also attended a couple of breakout sessions focusing on search engine optimization and marketing (SEO/SEM), and one on marketing to narrow networks.

The world of healthcare and healthcare marketing is changing rapidly. The attendees here at SHSMD, including Amperage, are at the leading edge of that change.
